I am simply selling it due to the fact that it isn’t getting driven and that I don’t have the time to take it on trips like I used to. It has been treated with rust stopper and painted with matching paint. The front right Bushwacker fender is pulled out slightly from sheetmetal. (off-road casualty) Chip on windshield. (Has been repaired) The pull cord on the passenger seat isn’t working correctly, but a lever under the seat makes it flip forward without using the pull cord. The rear driver side control arm bracket was welded a couple of years ago. It’s been looked at by numerous welders and all have agreed it’s stronger than it came from the factory. It’s never been an issue so I’ve just left it alone. There is a squeak in the steering column during cold weather. It isn’t an issue during warm weather. It’s pretty common in TJ’s (which this one is). The steering boot can be sprayed with a lubricant, but it will likely return in cold weather. It’s only during heavy turning (out of a parking spot) not during general driving, turning corners, etc. The Jeep has been used offroad so it does have some minor surface scratches but nothing serious. It has no dents or dings. Again, the Jeep isn’t being sold out of necessity but just because it isn’t being used much. It is worth more to me in my garage than it is to take a beating on the sale price. The asking price of $9,995.00 is firm. There isn’t a better equipped, better maintained Jeep for sale anywhere close and it would cost thousands more to purchase a cheaper Jeep and get it to where this one is. I trust this Jeep 100% and wouldn’t hesitate to drive it cross country today. I regularly drove it to Tennessee alone and never worried about it breaking down. I’ve owned this Jeep for 7+ years and it has been the best Jeep I’ve ever owned. (I’ve owned 4). It has never failed to start and has never broken down or stranded me in those 7+ years. The Jeep has been meticulously maintained and doted over during my ownership. Everything works on the Jeep. I have taken great care of it during my ownership and absolutely love it and will hate to see it go. The Jeep has never been abused, wrecked or smoked in. I have a Carfax report from when I purchased it in 2004 and you are more than welcome to run another one if would like. I will gladly supply the VIN number to any potential buyer. We live in the Columbus suburb of Plain City. It’s between Columbus & Dayton. We are only comfortable meeting a potential buyer at the Plain City Fire Department or Central Township (London) Fire Department. I apologize for any inconvenience but I feel it’s in everyone’s best interest to meet in a safe, populated location. Plus, the Jeep can be pulled into one of the bays for a full inspection in full lighting and warmth from the cold. Serious inquiries only and we aren’t looking to trade the Jeep straight up.
