Model: CJ-8 Year: 1981 Condition: Above average for age Mileage:51000 Price: $13,500 Name: terry davis Phone: 325-456-2749 City: brady State: Texas Email: terrydavis66@yahoo.com Has: Auto Transmission Power Steering Description: The jeep is an all original 1981 scrambler.It came w/ everything you could get on one except a/c 258 6 cylinder that runs very well,automatic transmission,pwr steering,pwr brakes,all emissions,tilt steering,leather wrapped steering wheel and grab bar,tach,clock,factory dash still there,factory seats still there but bottoms need recovering (see pics.) factory console,original side boards,factory swing out tire carrier,front & rear chrome bumpers,all 5 laredo wheels. The paint & stripes look real good to be 30 years old.It has very minimal surface rust in a few places there is a spot on the drivers rear quarter panel about the size of a quarter that is not all the way through nor is it rot that can be seen in the pics. The floor pans are in great shape w/ very minimal surface rust also seen in pics.Other than that there are a few areas that are a little discolored but no visible rust.There is one dent that would need to be repaired to make the body pretty much spotless on the drivers rear corner.Its not that bad though!At some point someone has installed a cb antenna on the drivers side of the bed that needs to go & also put the radio antenna on the passenger side of the bed instead of the front cowl panel. There also have been holes drilled on both sides for snaps on a tonneau bed cover. At some point there has been a custom built oversized fuel tank installed,overload springs & receiver hitch in the rear.(see pics.)well i think that pretty much sums up this 30 year old jeep.
