This jeep has been very well maintained over the years & stored inside. It has minimal surface rust only. (see pics.) no rot or holes. There has been some touch up around the rear flares & drivers rear corner. New flares have been installed recently. The body is very straight the paint & stripes still look good for their age! It has all 5 white spoke wheels that have never been painted. The spare is the original tire that has never touched the ground still has the tits. A local tire shop looked @ the code on the tire & confirmed this! In 1992 @ 43000 miles it was converted to a v-8 351 modified ford & also a spring over lift. They used all the original parts for the spring over just reversed them. I can put it back to the original setup if some one wants me to @ no charge. If it doesn\'t sell i was going to anyway! I have receipts & documentation for all of this. I also have maint. Docs from 8800 miles in 8! 6 thru 57,500 in 97 the interior has all the original equipment except for the console its gone. Orig carpet, seats, dash pad, door panels. The ash tray has never been used and still functions fine along w/ the lighter. It does have an add on heater that was installed as this jeep had a full soft top on it most of its life. Kinda cold in the winter i guess! Also explains the spares condition. All gauges and electrical components work as they should it also has intermittent wipers. The engine swap was done rite it looks very nice w/ all the correct wiring, fan shroud& components. This thing runs very well a sounds even better but quite! Has the original amc 20,dana 300 tranfercase & dana30 w/ a t-176 4speed.All of the under carriage in in very good shape w/ nothing more than surface rust in places, its clean. It is getting very hard to find scrambler w/ all this originality just look at the jeeps on this site. Most of them have been painted or tore up and its really hard to tell what your getting. Other than the v-8 this is an all original un molested scrambler that\'s in real good condition! I have almost everything to put the 6cyl. Back in it but after driving it i decided not to, it runs to good. I have a full soft top & doors (seen in pics.) if your interested. Also there is a small dent in the hood where its hit the windshield frame. I have alot more pics & can take more for you just ask.
