Below are some pictures of the new 2007 Jeep Patriot that I was once again fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with Jeep and Chrysler (through Jeep Jamboree USA) on the media launch for this new vehicle from Jeep.

 

The Jeep Patriot is being introduced as an entry level vehicle that is well rounded for the use of many in varying types of terrain. This vehicle is an all wheel drive that really performs as well in an off road environment as it does traveling around in town from store to store or work and back. It is not your hard core wheeler that many people look for in the Rubicon model Wranglers but it is not being promoted as such either. The Jeep is a great addition for the Jeep family that may have a son or daughter that will be heading off to college and needs reliable transportation yet the security of a vehicle that can handle snow, slick roads from rain and ice to the occasional outing at the lake or a weekend camping adventure in the woods.

 

It is an inexpensive new model that can be purchased in the starting range of around $15,000 which makes it very appealing to those that want to have the all around ability that this Jeep offers. And at a price that is much more affordable than many of the other manufacturer’s options out there. Great comfort, an amazing sound system and the ability to get you out to enjoy a multitude of different outdoor options make this new vehicle well worth checking out and taking for a test drive.

 

This media event and press roll out was done in an area just outside of Phoenix Arizona called the Four Peaks area. It is an amazing setting and we were even able to be there during one of the few times that the Arizona desert sees snow. As you can see in some of the photos there were a couple of days that we actually had snow capped mountains in the backdrop of our launch. Not too often do you get to see the large Saguaro cactus in the same setting as snow capped mountains. It truly worked out to be just the right place and time to introduce this new Jeep since it would be taken through a gauntlet of different terrains and conditions during the launch. There were sightings of all kinds of wildlife from Red Tail Hawks to Coyotes, Elk, Deer and even a few participants were fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of the Big Horn Sheep that are in some of the higher country outside of Phoenix.

 

Once again it was a great opportunity to have the privilege to work on another one of these new vehicle launches and understand the whole process as it goes through the channels as it gets designed, created, produced and finally made available to the public. This event allowed us to actually spend time with the engineers and get their stories about what it really took to make the new Jeep Patriot a reality and how much time and design goes into a vehicle like this.

 

If you’re shopping for a new vehicle, I recommend checking into the new Patriot to see how well it may suit your needs. At this price and for how well it performs in a variety of applications it is well worth the time to take a test drive in one.
