Will, I am so glad I got to see you and meet Vance on Saturday. After keeping in touch for the past several months since Moab, it was great to finally catch up in person for a little while. You'll be telling stories about this trip when you are Nick's age! I wish you a safe and fun trip and I can't wait to hear about all the places yall go along the way! I look forward to seeing you again soon on the trails ;) Hayden

It was a pleasure to meet you boys. I'm glad we were here to help you in your time of need. As street rodders and custom street rod builders, we know first hand what it's like to break down. It's not any fun when there's no one willing to help. Enjoy the salsa and jalapeno jelly, my custom creations. Let me know if you'd like more. I'll send it free of charge. Patti

You would be making a lot better time if you could put the beer down for a while. But then the trip would be over and what kind of fun would that be?

Good to see you're still "jeepin'" along. We were your neighbors at the Comfort Inn (nice place!) The ole' MG brought us safely home to Colorado (whew). We were plenty tired of sitting after our 3 days on the road, and can only imagine how you're feeling. Have a great finale! Happy roads to you --

Hope it didn't take more than a couple hours for you to make it on to Enid that evening because it was getting cool and an open vehicle just adds to the chill. If you had not been in such a hurry because of the repair at Route 64 a side trip up hwy 48 and across hwy 64 to Pawnee, Ok would have been good for you because the town square has several retired military weapons stationed on it. Don't forget to log on to www.aftn.net because it also remembers some of us who spent time in Southeast Asia. Godspeed @45 mph.

As Nick's self appointed grandson I thank you for what you two guys did. It killed me to sell Nick's Jeep but I seldom drove it. I cannot express in words how much your trip meant to Nick and the time you spent with him. Most of Nick's life was spent doing things that other people only dreamed of. He served his country and somehow still managed to have fun. I would not say he was a brave man but a man who never understood limits. I could not think of a better way to say goodbye to his Jeep. As Nick said when you all left, "I'd give my first row seat in hell to go with those boys." If Nick is going to hell then hell is full of a good bunch of folks. Thanks again.

Man, what a ride! I just caught up on your whole trip. It sounds like you guys had a great time. Good thing Will had his zip ties and duct tape with him. The only thing missing was super glue. Between the three you can fix ANYTHING! Will, we missed you at the Big Bear Jeep Jamboree, but hope to see you soon. Glad your trip was "eventful", but for the most part, safe. Your blogs were extremely entertaining and I really enjoyed them. Vance, gotta side with Will on the topping "off" not "up" - sorry dude! :-) Thanks for the laughs! See ya on the trails! From the moment I first read about your plans even through today, well past the completion of your trip I still check your blog. Really felt like I was along for the ride with you. Appreciate you sharing the experience. Do it again, make it a caravan of like vehicles, with wheeling stops along the route. Congrats. GT
