1948 Jeep Willy's in EXCELLENT condition. Well cared for and garage kept. Jeep was restored several years ago with a new body tub but the fenders, hood, tailgate, engine, transmission, transfer case, front end and rear end are original. The owner wanted a one piece windshield, so one was obtained from a CJ3. The PTO winch was added on. The Jeep was converted to a 12 volt system. Absolutely no rust and the Jeep runs great. It's a four wheel drive, 4 cylinder engine. Original owner (85 years old) was a WWII fighter pilot who purchased the Jeep after the war. This actual Jeep was used in the television series Gentle Ben (see attached picture with original owner and Gentle Ben).
