Model: CJ-8
Year: 1984

Description

Frame painted with Oshkosh truck frame paint. Body is PPG Chili Pepper Red. 3.54 gears and track lock rear with Dana power lock front and premium lock outs. Black diamond 3" lift springs and socks. Front shackle reversal and tie rod inversion eliminates all bump steer. Automatic Trans, T case (Dana 300). The 258 engine is rebuilt (.040 over I believe) 2 years ago with a Hesco 4 liter head and Chrysler 4 liter tubular exhaust manifold. I put the Hesco (Mopar) Multiport fuel injection on at that time too. It starts and runs like a new 4.0 liter!  Lots of work done to the 4wd hardware body in the body mount areas so I could use all factory OE size body mounts (poly) and then I linex'd (spray on bed lining) on the underside of the tub and inside of the tub, interior and in bed. The top has a real nice heavy felt/carpet liner for sound deadening and insulation. I have two Optima deep cycle Yellow tops and an Ohio Generator 160 amp alternator to go with all the electrical house cleaning I did. I have removed the complete Jeep carburetor electrical system and computer ( only takes 4 wire cuts when it is all laid out on the floor) and re integrated the new jeep MPI harness and computer. Trouble shooting if needed can be done at any Jeep dealer or with a scan tool and punch in a 1994 model Jeep Wrangler. (the year of the Mopar kit computer) It has lots of power and can run 75 on the interstate with throttle left, something normal carbureted Jeeps can't dream of doing with 33" tires on it.  33" general grabbers M/T's and American racing wheels type 23 I believe, powdercoated. I have well over 24k in it, Base vehicle $5000 Fiberglass tub & parts $2500 Mopar fuel injection, throttle body spacer, regulator $2000 Engine rebuild (new buckets, cam etc)$2200 PPG Paint body & top $2000 Frame and suspension, axles, T case work $4500 Linex bed lining $750 Interior( new dash pad $400) Seats, Radio $1200 TJ trim parts and Air intake & box $450 Wheels & Tires (5) $1200 Snow Plow (new Meyes) $2200 Rear Disc Brakes $500 Labor ????????? I have used only Jeep parts commonly available to keep any repairs simple.
