Vehicle Description See more pics here 1986 CJ7 magazine coverage show jeep V8 Chevy wrangler Will consider possible trade... also has tow bar. See youtube video of jeep running and driving: here and here. Vehicle Description OK here is my Jeep. I have hundreds of hours working on this awesome jeep. Everything works as it should. I would guess to say that if you were to go out and duplicate this jeep, you would be at lease 50-70k. This Jeep is awesome. It is fuel injected, V8 power, all the amenities like amazing AC and heat (very expensive to do) Power steering, amazing power disc brakes, modern Rubicon seats etc. This jeep drives new and is totally modernized. Why go out and spend 40k to have a new jeep that anyone can just buy and have their dealer install parts on. CJ’s in my opinion are the most rugged and best looking of all the jeeps. With all the modern upgrades, you sacrifice nothing over a new jeep. My wife drives this jeep to the store and gets all the looks. Plus, as far as street able jeeps go, this one is a winner. Very strong and functional driveline with lockers, plenty of V8 power to turn the big wheels. All the mods can get you in plenty of trouble off road. Of the hundreds of people who stop and stare, people all agree this is the best looking cleanest CJ they have ever seen. Everywhere I go, people stop and are amazed by it. It has been in two magazines. As you can see by the pics, people think it’s the best looking CJ ever. • 1995 Chevrolet TBI (fuel injected) 350 V8 (motor had 60k on it when installed, 2,300 miles on jeep since completion. • Vintage air AC system AC blows cold, heater blows hot. I integrated the switches in the stock locations, see pic, so it looks stock but it has the electro actuated switches.  Specs here

I did have 35”s, when we talk I can tell you more about performance of wheels. • Delta driving lights in cups, Hella driving, other lights around and under and in back of jeep for night wheeling • Rear seat moved back 8 inches for rear passengers and narrowed at upholstery shop to fit CJ’s wider wheel wells. • Hard top is in great shape, no cracks • Mastercraft hand grabs • Tow bar • ARB Air compressor with front air chuck for filling tires, tools, air mattresses etc. • Secret Audio unit, can hook Ipod with adapter and Rockford Fosgate punch 150 with 6x9 and 4x6 speakers • Locking center console • All new cables, switches etc. • 2 core Aluminum 1.25” per core radiator and fan with adjustable thermostat setting. I also have a hard mount fan, that’s installed now; I can explain more, so please ask. • Roll cage integrated into frame • I have a CV drive shaft rear and an extreme 12 travel drive shaft front • Poison spyder rocker knockers • LED brake lights and 3rd LED in spare • Ford Crown Vic electric fan • Heated Seats • Optima Battery • Counteract rust stopper www.counteractrust.com. Along the front window there are a few bubbles popping up along the long seam. Of course this is much to my horror, especially when you have a 15k paint and airbrush pain job. Since I have added the counteract, the rust has stopped, I only wish I did it sooner. There is no other rust on the jeep. I am sure I have forgotten a ton of stuff. This is a great jeep, runs perfect, needs nothing to drive across country and be perfectly reliable. Drives excellent as a daily driver or an excellent off roader that could get you in extreme places. How long have you owned this vehicle? 4 years. I am in the habit of building and then selling. This is a very expensive habit. I am currently working on a 69 Camaro, that I need about 75k to finish it. How does the vehicle track down the highway? Excellent / drives with one hand on wheel and drives perfectly straight. No issues with Detroit locker etc. What is the engine rpm at 60 mph? Approx 3,000 rpm at 60. Since the restoration how many miles have been put on the vehicle? Approx 2,300 Are the main body parts original? Yes, all body panels are original It this is the original body what was rust damage prior to restoration? None, when I was shopping I wanted a rust free CJ (no small job) So I shopped for months, till I found this one. Was there any frame repair work done? No frame is straight, no mods. What is the vehicle description on the title? 1986 CJ7, clean title, no salvaged or repaired listing. This is a clean title vehicle. What would you change, what need modifying? I would say my biggest gripe is the gearing. It’s pretty low. If I did more wheeling that highway driving then I’m perfect. But being that the jeep really only sees the road for date night, I lose speed for RPM’s. Secondly, the fender flares are less than impressive, I should have spent the extra $100 and bought the warn units. Thirdly, the 37’s help with the gearing, 35’s functioned better for articulation. I did cut out the passenger front fender well and riveted in some rubber, I’m still not happy with the way it looks, in a perfect world, I would put 35’s or 36’s back on and change the gears, or put in a 700R4. My problem is that until it’s perfect I can’t sleep. And right now, I hate to sell it, but I need the money to finish the 69 Camaro. I do have 2 small video clips of the jeep running and driving, email me and I can send them to you. FYI some pics are with 35’s most with 37’s, with hardtop on and off. Call me with any questions.
