It is a head turner for sure..I very rarely take it out that someone dosen't stop me to look at it...The interior has no cracks and is in excellent condition..The back seat is in near perfect condition and looks as if it has never been sat in before..The jeep has no rust on it at all. Brand new Goodyear Wrangley tires.All power features work as well as the heat and air..The engine has been replaced and my mechanic says there are less than 20,000 miles on it..The battery and alternator as well as fule pump are brand new..The radio is brand new as well..I just had a new paint job put on it as well as replaced the wood panels and trim as well as the weather stripping..It really does look fully restored and runs like a top. |

Was quite a head turner in it\'s day. This was my daily driver for years. Crossed the country in it several times. A pleasure to drive. The motor died on me one day. I suspect a valve problem.Has been sitting the past 7 years, but I\'ve kept the motor turned over. As I\'m on the coast, rust is becoming an issue. Body is about 90 percent or better. Needs a body off restoration, but I haven\'t won the lottery yet. :( Moving out of country later this year so my baby must be sold. My terms are cash only. The price is non negotiable. It has the original 3-speed on the column and original overdrive for highway driving. It has some extras from your standard Jeepster: driver side spotlight, wide white wall tires, chrome interior wheel rims and all the original hub caps. The interior upholstery has been redone and the top is new. I have all the side windows and the cover that snaps to the backseat when the top is down. I have some additional Willy’s parts that will be included in the sale. The Jeepster is mechanically strong and the body/paint in good condition for its age. This rarely seen jeep is called a "garage service jeep" and is shown in various early sales catalogs. Here are the details of the running gear: original 4 cylinder Hurricane 4 cylinder, T-98 granny low transmission, original dual wheel model 70 rear end, standard model 25 front end. When jeep built dual wheel models they normally had two different gear ratios front and rear and tried to make up for the difference with two different tire sizes on two different style rims. Originally there were 5.87 gears in the model 70 and 5.38 gears in the model 25 front. It didn't work out real well and a lot of duallys out there had broken gear sets. I have installed matching 4.88 gears front and rear and have used all the same rims and tires. Drives perfect with the 4.88's.
