Model: CJ-7 DescriptionThis 1985 jeep has been my baby for years but now since I have other babies it's time to let her go. The jeep has had almost everything replaced or rebuilt. Frame was sanded, coated with por-15 rust preventative and coated black. It has dana 44s front and rear with 3.73 gears (to maintain highway driveability) both axles have trac loc limited slips. The engine is a Chevy 350 4 bolt cooled with a dual core radiator with built in trans cooler and dual electric fans (switch mounted on dash). It has new everything. It is mated to a turbo 350 trans that is hooked up with an advance adapter. The Dana 300 t-case has been rebuilt with high strength gearsets. The drive shafts have been lengthened, reinforced, and balanced. Dual exhaust runs all the way out the back after exiting flowmaster 40 series mufflers. The interior has been coated with duraback, has a tuffy security console with Sony stereo mounted in it, and new Corbeau seats in the front (rear is stock). The dash is stainless and monitors the vitals with a full set of auto meter gauges. There is a six point roll cage that covers the front and rear seat. It is tied to the frame in the front and prepped for the center and rear (just haven't got to it). Now for the bad. The paint has some minor scratches and dings, nothing major and mostly on the lift gate behind the tire carrier. Along the driver side rocker there is the slightest bit of surface rust starting to bubble the paint. I was going to Por-15 it and add some rocker knockers but hate to drill in the original body. All of the dash lights do not presently work. They did when it was rebuilt but I think I've lost a ground and haven't been behind the dash to fix it. I am trying to be as honest as possible and encourage you to call with any questions. This jeep was built to handle the sand dunes of western Michigan and does so with ease. It is a great jeep all original steel frame, body, and even windshield frame. It's solid. It needs to be picked up but I will work with anyone for shipping or delivery up to a certain distance. I have a 16 ft flatbed trailer that can be negotiated in the deal to help with pick-up or delivery. Please call with any and all questions. |

OK here is my Jeep. I have hundreds of hours working on this awesome jeep.
Everything works as it should. I would guess to say that if you were to go out and duplicate this jeep, you would be at lease 50-70k.
This Jeep is awesome. It is fuel injected, V8 power, all the amenities like amazing AC and heat (very expensive to do) Power steering, amazing power disc brakes, modern Rubicon seats etc. This jeep drives new and is totally modernized. Why go out and spend 40k to have a new jeep that anyone can just buy and have their dealer install parts on. CJ’s in my opinion are the most rugged and best looking of all the jeeps. With all the modern upgrades, you sacrifice nothing over a new jeep. My wife drives this jeep to the store and gets all the looks. Plus, as far as street able jeeps go, this one is a winner. Very strong and functional driveline with lockers, plenty of V8 power to turn the big wheels. All the mods can get you in plenty of trouble off road.
Of the hundreds of people who stop and stare, people all agree this is the best looking cleanest CJ they have ever seen.
Everywhere I go, people stop and are amazed by it. It has been in two magazines. As you can see by the pics, people think it’s the best looking CJ ever.
• 1995 Chevrolet TBI (fuel injected) 350 V8 (motor had 60k on it when installed, 2,300 miles on jeep since completion.
• Vintage air AC system AC blows cold, heater blows hot. I integrated the
switches in the stock locations, see pic, so it looks stock but it has the electro actuated switches.

Model: CJ-7 DescriptionUp for sale is a totally original 1984 CJ7 Laredo in awesome shape I am the third owner. This Jeep has been in my local area it's whole life and still has the dealer emblem on the rear of the vehicle. The Jeep is not perfect with a small chip in the windshield and some minor rust on the windshield frame and drivers side rear below the tail light this is surface rust only, also the driver seat has some wear. This Jeep is one of the few left unmolested with no lift, paint work, engine modifications and everything but the gas gage works. The pictures do not do this vehicle justice it is a beautiful rare color and looks great in person. This Jeep has the Laredo package with automatic transmission the 4.2L six cylinder that runs great and original soft top in great condition for it's age also has intermittent wipes (rare), a bikini top in matching color included. The jeep was painted about 2 1/2 years ago and has been garage kept to ensure that the paint wouldn't dull over time. Pretty much everything on it is new or has been purchased within the last 2 years. New purchases include a tiger top, soft doors, rock rails, tube step rails, flood lights, jeep decals, rubber seals, rear seat. There is no rust on the vehicle. When I purchased it the body was solid and there was a spot of rust on the window frame. That was replaced shortly after purchase. |

Model: CJ-7 DescriptionThis is a 1985 CJ7 with 25,000 original miles. It is in excellent condition. I had the opportunity to purchase it off an older lady who's husband bought it new in 1985 and passed away in 1986. She held on to it until last year. It was garage keep. It's a 4.2 straight 6 with a 5 speed transmission. It has the black CJ seats with the orange piping trim. I'VE put a new bestop and doors, Crager rims, new exhaust, new mirrors, nerf bars, new battery and starter on it. I've went over the entire jeep mechanically and it's in excellent condition, (again it only has 25,000 miles on it!!!!) must sell. time to buy son a car for school. |

Model: CJ-7 DescriptionThis is a 1981 Jeep CJ-7 with 84,000 miles. I bought the Jeep about three years ago. It has a 258 inline 6 with a three speed automatic transmission. I have put a 2 inch shackle lift on it to adjust for the new wheels and tires I have recently put on. The 32 inch tires fit perfect and do not rub. I have put a new gas tank and gas lines on the jeep along with new skid plates. The jeep has a performance muffler with dual exhaust out the back with tips that point downward. I also have just recently put new tube bumpers on the front and back. The rear bumper has a receiver hitch and the front has two lights and a 2500 lb winch on it. The soft top was put on new two years ago and has no scratches or holes. The stereo is all aftermarket with a amp and nice rear speakers. Model: CJ-7 DescriptionPURCHASED: Purchased used in 1996 from a car dealer in San Diego, CA. Vehicle was stock. CONDITION: $30,000 invested to build a good looking and extremely capable trail Jeep. I had the vehicle professionally rebuilt including replacement of engine, transmission, axles, and suspension. I have receipts. Odometer mileage does not reflect actual mileage on replaced items. Engine and transmission have approximately 52,000 miles (see Engine description below). Axles and suspension have less than 2000 miles. Vehicle is street legal and is as reliable on the freeway (70+ MPH) as the trail. I have taken it out approximately 6 times on tails that range from easy to difficult and have always been impressed by how capable it performs. I usually end up leading the 4x4 group. I drove it 8 hours straight on the freeway to a trail in Northern CA, had lunch and wheeled the rest of the day with no problems to speak of. Be confident that this Jeep has been tested but not beat. Small scratches here and there as would be expected but look at the pictures and you be the judge. Small dent in tailgate from previous tire carrier which you can’t see when carrier is closed. Vehicle interior is stock with no radio, no foam dash installed but is included (had to be removed when installing full roll cage). Vehicle has been inspected and approved by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair and smogged in California for several years. It has passed the semi annual smog test every time. I will smog the vehicle if purchased by a CA buyer prior to completion of transaction. This vehicle was never a daily driver and was garaged and covered when not being used. ENGINE: The engine was installed by San Diego Car Crafters in El Cajon, CA and runs excellent. It is a Chevrolet 305 TBI (throttle body injected) from a totaled 89’ Z28 Camaro that had 50,000 miles. All OEM engine parts (except for air conditioning which was removed) were used including the electrical harness which was modified to connect with the Jeep’s stock electrical system. New electrical sending units were installed to work with the vehicle’s stock gauges. Bombproof motor mounts. New radiator and fan shroud sized for Chevy V8. New heater core. New hoses, belts, wires, and plugs. New professionally installed exhaust including a turbo muffler. 99% of parts are stock off the shelf type. Vehicle averages 15 MPG. TRANSMISSION: The transmission was also installed by San Diego Car Crafters and is an automatic 700R4 with overdrive from the same donor car (89’ Z28 Camaro). New driveshafts were made to accommodate the longer transmission. B&M transmission cooler and shifter installed. AXLES: Front and rear Dana 44 axles custom built and installed by MIT Drivetrain Specialists in El Cajon, CA. Moser axles with 4:88 gears and Detroit Lockers. Warn locking hubs. Rockcrusher differential covers. Disk brakes front, drum rear. TRANSFER CASE: Dana 300 with Advance Adapters kit to mate to transmission. Twin stick shifters installed so you can disengage the front or rear axle at anytime. SUSPENSION: 4” Skyjacker spring under suspension lift with Doetsch Tech shocks. 2” JB Conversions body lift. Dynatrac U-Bolt Reversal Kit for added ground clearance. Sway bar disconnects. Heavy duty Currie tow shackles front and rear. All parts installed by MIT Drivetrain Specialists in El Cajon, CA. BODY: $2000 body work and paint job that included complete strip of old paint and repainted with PPG dark metallic brown (stock Jeep color) and clear coated. There was no rust holes since it was a southern California vehicle. Old soft top snaps that were in the tub were removed, the holes welded closed and sanded. Interior is painted same color as exterior. New fender flares installed including Wrangler flares in rear to accommodate larger tires. Metal half doors with soft windows. Best Top soft top with full soft doors. No hard top. No full hard doors. TIRES AND RIMS: BFG 33x12.5x15 tires and 10x15 Aluminum American Racing Baja rims. Full size spare and rim. It has several good points: a good hard top; a bikini top; two sets of doors - full hard doors and full soft doors (the soft doors convert to half doors); added lights on the bumper and hood - all in working order; rub rails; tires that have excellent tread and are mounted on custom aluminum wheels that are in great condition; the seat covers have been replaced and look nice; the stereo works; the interior has black carpet; a new battery; the 304 V8 engine and automatic transmission are in working order; it is ready for restoration so you get to make it your own (color, extras, etc.). It has some bad points: some rust spots (frame and underbody); the engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, etc. may be original - to sum it up, you have some work to do if you want a really solid jeep. Hopefully, you can get some enjoyment from it while you do the work. I would like to keep the jeep, but I need funds for a housing project. Model: CJ-7 DescriptionClean looking, white 1986 CJ 7 with a Black Hard top. The paint job is a little over a year old and the hard top has been refinished. Little to no rust on body and frame. New parts added include a tube bumper kit, mickey thompson tires (250/15/32) and rims X5, new best top front seats, windshield and windshield post, hood accessories and the inside floor has been coated with truck bed protectant, many other parts have been replaced and added but too long to list. Needs the horn installed which will be included and the windshield wiper switch mounted. The engine is a rebuilt 258 straight six that was installed 2 yrs ago. Has a small oil leak that needs to be addressed. Runs very strong and is reliable. Took a 600 mile trip and had no problems. New clutch has been installed in the last six months. Took on this project but have decided car work is not for me, plus I'm getting married soon and just dont have the time or energy to finish it. Has great potential to be an excellent one of a kind jeep. |

Model: CJ-7 Descriptionthis jeep is a silver 1985 jeep cj7 with a straight inline 6 cylinder and 5 speed trans (with about 6 months left of warranty prob) 4 barrel carb I would say its 95% rust free, a hole size of a quarter on the back where close to where the roll bar connects with jeep. 2 rust spots right in front of rear fenders, been treated, and a small palm size hole inside where the driver seatbelt is bolted, other than that, the whole tub is very very clean, solid, and i will take more pics of the tub etc 4" lift heavy duty clutch put in less than a year ago brand new front driver and passenger seat (as in 2 days old) driver seat still on way even. brand new driver seat riser, and slider rear seat in perfect shape (reddish color) same as dash pad glove box works, center console but no lock all gauges work: headlights, high beams, wipers, fuel gauge, battery, oil, cd player with 6x9 in the back, speakers. blows air comes with hard top, brand new besttop soft top, a week old passenger hard door works perfectly, driver hard door lock is broken. just changed oil and air filter brand new 33/12.5 tires, actually getting them put on next week on wed the 20th. you can accelerate up to 80mph even on this jeep, bought it and drove it an hour and half at 75-80 mph all the way home, speedo will show about 10mph slower cause of big tires, it actually has 33/15.5 right now Problems (or things that you might fix) 1- oil leak, somewhere from the bottom, but haven't had to add oil so not that big of a deal i guess 2- if you stomp on the gas to accelerate fast, jeep will hesitate/jerk, but if you accelerate slowly, it will drive smooth, i can drive it all day, which i do and never let it hesitate etc. 3- the wire going from gas pedal to moter/carb, whatever it is, is not tight, very lil slack in it, so sometimes when your driving, right before you upshift or downshit, just give the gas pedal a tap, cause it sometimes gets stuck, kinda like cruise control, then just lightly tap the pedal to shake it and it will get unstuck, i guess its cause the wire is not tight, these should be the only three problems. i drive this jeep as a daily driver, all day on my two days off wed. and Sundays and at least 3 times a week to work. its a bad ass jeep. i bought another one that is not jacked up and i need to sell one of the two,. the other one is a 1985 jeep cj7, same as this but not jacked up, just 2" lift, black. but rather sell this one cause its big PICS SHOW JEEP WITH OLD SEATS AND OLD TIRES |

It has a brand new 44 rear end, new clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, starter, steering column, Mojave heater, 35" bf Goodrich mud terrains, 150 watt kc's, and a new 21 gallon poly gas tank, also just had an engine tune-up. i'm just looking to break even on the money I have already put into it which is a little over 7800.00 but i am willing to let it go for 7500.00 OBO. |
